have been fascinated by what AI can do for talent acquisition, so over the past few months, I have played with several new tools which you may be interested in looking at as well. I think that AI will start to truly impact HR in the next 12-18 months as it already is in the US and other parts of the world, and generally, whatever happens in the US finds its way in some shape or form to NZ/Australia. AI has many potential advantages to HR, as it can (among other things). - handle huge data volumes, - find the factors within that data that can lead to a great hire (without too much human intervention), -be instructed not to consider personal characteristics, and thus significantly improve diversity, - greatly reduce the reliance on informal networks and connect employees to new opportunities based on their interests and potential There are many start-ups and some well-known AI providers in the marketplace (graphic below). The list I looked at contained close to 100 vendors across sourcing and candidate engagement/marketing, ATS/CRMs, job boards, and assessments. The ones that interested me the most include: - - Aya (https://goarya.com/). I have used/piloted this tool. It has proved to be helpful so far, but it’s early days. - Horsefly (https://horseflyanalytics.com/). We spoke to them late last year and were impressed with what they had to offer; this may be a good option for larger organisations. - Manatal (https://www.manatal.com/). I tried this for a month or so. Whilst it was good, it wasn’t what was needed, so the subscription was cancelled. - Broadbean (https://www.broadbean.com/au/). I’m yet to try this product, but it connects to hundreds of job boards, social networks, and other recruitment channels to send postings worldwide. - Wonderkind (https://wonderkind.com/) – assists with candidate marketing, helping you reach passive and active job candidates. It looks like an interesting product which I plan to try soon. - Jobscore (https://www.jobscore.com/tour/applicant_tracking_system/). This ATS will post to several job boards (some for free) and then enable you to manage candidates. It’s one of the many on the market. It would be worthwhile doing more research on ATS options before purchasing (use sites like https://www.g2.com, or https://www.capterra.co.nz to see reviews). As noted, there are multiple options. Others I’ve looked at include Breezy (https://www.breezy.hr/), Pandologic (https://www.pandologic.com/recruiting-with-ai/), Filtered (https://app.filtered.ai) and Eightfold (https://eightfold.ai/). If you want a more detailed list, please make contact, or if you have tried something new, why not post something. |
